This division will form the requisite network and connections with leading academics, fintech companies, social entrepreneurs and students from across the world to organise the Financial Inclusion Conference (FIC) in 2024. The division will also organise our annual microfinance and microinsurance crash with Aga Khan Agency.
MICROFINANCE CRASH COURSE
Reinforcing our Commitment
Every year, we invite Sadru Akbarali, former senior programme manager for Aga Khan Agency to give an enriching 4-session crash course on Microfinance. Starting from the origins of microfinance and ending with the opportunities and challenges the field faces today, Sadru provides a comprehensive overview of the fundamentals of microfinance.

Microinsurance Crash Course
Sadru Akbarali, former senior programme manager for Aga Khan Agency, also delivers a thought-provoking 3-session crash course on Microinsurance. Building on the knowledge from our Microfinance Crash Course, Sadru goes through the opportunities and challenges of insurance markets today. This equips students with a solid foundation in microinsurance.

Financial Inclusion Conference (FIC)
Our new flagship event due to be hosted in the 2023/24 academic year. Join us for a whole day packed with panel events, networking sessions, and speeches about the vast industry of financial inclusion.
